Getting close to discharge day!

At my lunch break today I went to see Wesley.  Got there just in time for the eye doctor and I wish I wasn't there.  It all looks so barbaric with the nurse holding his arms down and his head still while the dr puts in the metal eyelid retractor that keeps his eyes open. Poor baby was screaming 😢

Then I was the good guy and soothed his tears. 

I signed the forms to get him snipped this week and I took the discharge class.  Dr B wrote orders that they could offer bottle more if ready.

When joe and I came tonight the nurse said she was going to give bottle at 8 and asked if I wanted to.  Of course I did!

So I did and he did pretty good! You could tell he was still not sure about it bc he would breathe heavy after sucking a while but he downed it in 15 min.

Then he was in a milk coma

Still don't know when we are going home but it is definitely close :) maybe next week.
